Shana Shero plays a central role in developing the structures and practices that allow the Materials Discovery Research Institute team to deliver on our ambitious goals. She helps  strengthen project execution, improve coordination across our research and engineering groups, and ensure alignment with our strategic priorities.

Shero brings over a decade of experience leading complex projects in healthcare and software development, with a proven track record in strategic planning, process optimization, and organizational change management. Most recently, she served as a senior implementation project manager at Circana, where she successfully delivered multiple high-impact initiatives, streamlined cross-functional collaboration, and enhanced operational efficiency. She has also held project management and business analyst roles at Walgreens, where she contributed to IT and healthcare innovation, process improvement, and enterprise-wide data initiatives.

Shero holds an M.B.A. from the Keller Graduate School of Management at DeVry University and a B.S. in biology from Northeastern Illinois University.
