Jeff Wu, Ph.D.

Jeff Wu, Ph.D. has 20 years of experience in both academia and industry, with a focus on energy generation and storage systems. His expertise includes PEM fuel cell-based stationary and portable power supplies, flow battery energy storage systems, water electrolysis, and hydrogen storage. Wu possesses extensive knowledge and skills in the innovation, development, testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance of renewable energy systems ranging from Watts-scale to kW-scale and MW-scale. Prior to joining the Materials Discovery Research Institute, Wu conducted renewable energy research at various institutions, including Honeywell UOP (USA), UniEnergy Technologies (USA), the Institute for Fuel Cell Innovation at the National Research Council (Canada), and the Casaccia Research Centre at ENEA (Italy).

Wu holds a Ph.D. from the Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics at the Chinese Academy of Sciences in China and completed postdoctoral research at the Institute for Fuel Cell Innovation at the National Research Council (Canada).
